The FOB (free on board) codes category contains all the valid FOB codes in the system. The FOB code designates the point at which the title passes for shipped merchandise. Shipping terms are usually expressed as F.O.B. Shipping Point (origin) or F.O.B. Destination.
This category is required if the Order Processing module is installed.
This category should not be confused with the Purchasing category 225.
FREE ON BOARD CODE
Required. Positions 1-2. Used to define FOB codes that can be used in the system.
LANGUAGE CODE
Optional. Positions 3-4. To enter the description in your base language, leave this field blank. To enter the description in a secondary language, enter the language code. The code must be a valid language code from category D92. This description will be used whenever customer or vendor documents are printed in the indicated language.

FREE ON BOARD DESCRIPTION
Required. Used to define the FOB codes. This description will be printed on customer/vendor documents in their default language.
EC FOB CODE
Optional. Used on Intrastat reports. The FOB code (3 digits) specifies the point at which the title passes for shipped merchandises. These codes were defined by the international Chamber of commerce as follows:
EXW Ex-works
FCA Franco carrier
FAS Free alongside ship
FOB Free on board
CFR Cost and freight (C&F)
CIF Cost, insurance, freight
CPT Carriage paid to
CIP Carriage and insurance paid to
DAF Delivered at frontier
DES Delivered ex-ship
DEQ Delivered ex-quay
DDU Delivered duty unpaid
DDP Delivered duty paid
TRANSPORT CONTRACT CODE
Optional. Used in VAT environment where the ESL/SSD management is used. The Transport Contract code corresponds to countries mentioned on the transportation contract.
1 - Place located in the territory of the member state concerned.
2 - Place located in another member state.
3 - Other (Place outside the community).
