The Flow Receipts Default Values category works in conjunction with the Just-in-Time Inventory Update Transaction conversation. If you decide to enter flow receipts via mass entry, you will need to set up the flow receipt default values on this category.
USER ID
Required. Enter the name of the name of the person who will be entering flow receipts via mass entry.

The values that you enter on this screen will default to the Inventory Update Transaction Options screen (JT120S05). The Options screen is displayed by pressing F14 - Options on the Inventory Update Transaction Mass Entry screen (JT120S03).
PROTECT CELL FIELD
Required. Valid values are 'Y' (yes) or 'N' (no). If you enter Y, the Cell field that appears on the Mass Entry screen will be protected. If you enter N, the Cell field will not be protected. The default value is Y.
DISPLAY QUANTITY FIELD
Required. Valid values are 'Y' (yes) or 'N' (no). If you enter Y, the Display Quantity Field will be displayed. If you enter N, the Number of Containers field and the Quantity Received field will not be displayed (on the Mass Entry screen).
COUNT BY CONTAINERS
Required. Valid values are 'Y' or 'N.' If the Containers Counting option is Y and the Display Quantity Field option is Y (on the Options screen), you may enter the number of containers on the Mass Entry screen. The field defaults to Y.
If the Containers Counting option is N and the Display Quantity Field option is N, you may not enter any quantity on the Mass Entry screen; the value of the field will default to one item.
If the Containers Counting option is Y and the Display Quantity Field option is N, you may not enter any quantity on the Mass Entry screen; the value will default to one container.
If the Containers Counting option is N and the Display Quantity Field option is Y, you may enter the number of single items on the Mass Entry screen.
DISPLAY LOT CONTROL FIELDS
Valid values are 'Y' (yes) or 'N' (no). If the value of the Display Lot Control option is Y, the Lot Number, Lot FIFO Date, and the QC Specs fields are displayed on the Mass Entry screen. These fields are also displayed if the received part is lot controlled and the Display Lot Control option is N; however, the fields will no longer be displayed once the flow receipt is posted. The default value of the field is Y.
IMMEDIATE PROCESSING
Required. Valid values are 'Y' (yes) or 'N' (no). The default value is Y.
If you enter Y, all flow receipts are sent immediately to the JIT Group Monitor (which is automatically started with the JIT Monitor). The JIT Group Monitor processes and summarizes the flow receipts to the JIT Monitor every 60 seconds.
If you enter N, the flow receipts must be posted using F23-Async Update on the Inventory Update Transactions Mass Entry screen (JT120S03). You may also review flow receipts by pressing F11-Review on the same screen.
DEFAULT USING STOCK LOCATION
Enter the name of a using stock location that you would like to default to the Option screen (JT120S05).
DISPLAY USING STOCK LOCATION
Valid values are 'Y' (yes) or 'N' (no). If you enter Y, the Using Stock Location field will be displayed on the Mass Entry screen (JT120S03). If you enter N, this field will not be displayed, but may be displayed by changing the value in the Display Using Stock Location field found on the Options screen (JT120S05).
