This is a required category if the Repetitive Supply module is installed.

This screen maintains firm horizon information for the plant that was entered on the Function Select screen.

FIRM HORIZON

Required. Valid values are:

Y - The firm horizon is calculated based on the part's total fixed leadtime. It is updated on the Part Master File when a firm schedule is transmitted to a vendor.

N - The firm horizon is not updated on the Part Master File when a firm schedule is transmitted to a vendor. The firm periods reflected on the schedule are determined by the appropriate period schedule Reference File category (G54, G57, or G64) rather than the part's fixed leadtime.

VDA PROCESSING

Required. Valid values are:

Y - The processing of RS VDA logic is permitted in this plant, and RS VDA parts (defined by a PO Generation Mode of 7, 8, 9, A, B, or C on the Part Master file, which correspond in processing to the standard PO Generation Modes of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6, respectively) may also be defined. Special VDA PO Release and VDA Report/Schedule Generation programs are run in the RS logic of the RP Generation and the RS Daily Batch Job Streams if at least one plant is processing RS VDA logic.

N - The processing of RS VDA logic is NOT permitted in this plant, and RS VDA parts may not be defined to this plant.
