Delivery requests are schedules that define the specific quantities of items needed to be shipped. This category defines the two types of delivery requests maintained in the Synchro and Repetitive Supply modules.

The delivery request type, associated with each delivery request, defines the way the request must be taken into account versus the already existing request for the associated item/delivery point relationships. The request type is unique for each request received, even if it is associated with several blanket orders.

The two types of delivery requests are:

1 - Cancel and replace the existing delivery request for each one of the item/delivery point relationships, from the first delivery date mentioned in the new request.

2 - Current Actualization: The new data is substituted to the one previously received for the corresponding period(s).

This is a required category if the Synchro or Repetitive Supply modules are installed in your system.

This screen allows you to maintain the description of the delivery request type you entered on the Function Select screen. The value you enter in the Short Description field is displayed on Synchro and Repetitive Supply screens and reports whenever the corresponding delivery request type is specified.

SHORT DESCRIPTION

Required. Enter a short description of the delivery request type you are maintaining. This description will be displayed on several screens and reports within the Synchro and Repetitive Supply modules.
