The Customer Messages category contains user-defined codes that identify messages to be printed for a customer. A print code defines on which documents the customer messages will be printed. This is not a required category. If no records are created for this category, customer message codes cannot be used.
CUSTOMER MESSAGE CODE
Required (Positions 1-3). This field contains the customer message code for which you wish to maintain information.
LANGUAGE CODE
Optional (Positions 4-5). To enter the description in your base language, leave this field blank. To enter the description in a secondary language, enter the language code. The code must be a valid language code from category D92. This description will be used whenever customer or vendor documents are printed in the indicated language.

MESSAGE
Required. Contains the message which will be printed on a customer shipping order. This message will be printed on customer/vendor documents in their default language.
MESSAGE PRINT CODE
Required. Used to define on which documents the customer message will be printed. The message print code must be entered if the Order Processing Module is installed. If entered, the print code must exist on the Reference File (category 410).
