This category allows you to define default values that will be used when you create a new customer in the Customer Master Maintenance conversation. The defaults are defined at the same level that customers are defined. For example, if you define customers at a global level, one record exists on this category for system-wide defaults. If you define customers at a company level, you must set up a record on this category for each company in the system. The defaults on that record will be used when customers are created for that company. The level at which customers are defined is specified using the Currency Level field on Reference File category 133.
CATEGORY KEY
The information you enter for the category key will depend on the currency level.

ON RESERVE/ON ORDER AMOUNT
Required. This field will is used as part of the credit check processing in the Order Processing module. Specifically, it is used to identify whether the system will use On Reserve amount in credit checking or On Order amount. If no value is specified for this flag, the system will use On Order amount. Valid values are:
R - On Reserve amount will be used for credit checking. This is the reserve quantity multiplied by the unit price plus taxes.
O - On Order amount will be used for credit checking. This is the extended price plus taxes.
A/R DUE DAYS or A/R DUE AMOUNT
Required. Identifies whether the customer's accounts receivable balance will be evaluated according to amount overdue or days overdue during credit checking. Valid values are:
A - Amount Overdue. Compares the customer's A/R overdue balance against the customer's Amount Overdue Limit.
D - Days Overdue. Compares the number of days the oldest unpaid invoice is overdue to the customer's Days Overdue Limit.
Note that this field will apply to all customers defined for this level (global, company, or company/location); a separate flag is NOT stored for each customer on the Customer Master File.
