The Currency Literals Category contains the information necessary to print checks in various different currencies.
For each currency that will be used to write checks, this category must be set up. The category contains the denominator and subdivision words for the currency. These words are used to print decode text on checks.
For a single currency environment the category must be set up with a blank key. The information in this case will be that pertaining to the one currency used in the system (base currency).
CURRENCY
Required. Specify currency code of the currency required. Code must exist on the currency rate master file (CF240M).

DENOMINATOR WORD
Required. Specify the currency Denominator word. This will appear on the check decode text line.
DENOMINATOR WORD LENGTH
Required. Specify here the length of the word entered in the Denominator word field.
SUBDIVISION WORD
Optional. Specify the Subdivision word to appear on the check decode text line. If not entered the subdivision section of the check decode text line (including amount) will be suppressed.
SUBDIVISION WORD LENGTH
Optional. If Subdivision word is entered, specify the length. Leave blank if no subdivision word was entered.
CURRENCY SYMBOL
Optional. If specified this entry will be treated as the Internationally accepted currency symbol and will appear on the check just prior to the amount (numeral).
