The Cumulative Leadtime Generation Request category stores requests that have been entered through the Cumulative Leadtime Generation Request conversation (DE350E). The requests must be maintained through that conversation; they cannot be updated through Reference File Category Maintenance.
The category is keyed by plant, since one leadtime generation request is allowed per plant. During the leadtime generation, new cumulative leadtimes are calculated for every part in the plant, and the Part Master File is updated with the new information.
PLANT
Positions 1-3 Required. Enter the plant for which you wish to view the current cumulative leadtime request. Note that requests cannot be entered through this conversation; a request must already exist for the plant, and the request code must be 4 (Inquire).

SUBMIT REQUEST
Display only. Indicates whether leadtimes will be calculated for all parts in the plant. Valid values are Y (yes) and N (no). If this fields contains a Y, the plant will be included next time the Cumulative Leadtime Generation batch job is submitted. After the job is finished, the system will reset the field to N. To delete the request before the batch job is submitted, use the Cumulative Leadtime Generation Request Program (DE350E) to change this field from Y to N.
EFFECTIVITY DATE
Display only. Components in effect on this date will be used to determine the cumulative leadtime for manufactured and build-thru parts.
REQUESTOR
Optional. The text in this field will be printed on the Cumulative Leadtime Generation Request report to help identify who requested the report.
GENERATE CUMULATIVE LEADTIME
Display only. Valid values are Y (yes) or N (no). If you enter Y, the cumulative leadtime is calculated and updated for every part in a plant. The cumulative leadtime includes both fixed and variable leadtimes. For manufactured and build-thru parts, it includes the time required to manufacture or purchase all of the part's components. If you enter N, the cumulative leadtime is not calculated.
UPDATE REQUIREMENTS PLANNING FIRM HORIZON DAYS
Display only. Valid values are Y (yes) or N (no). If you enter Y, the firm horizon date (which is used for planning purposes in the Requirements Planning module) will be calculated as being the same date as the cumulative leadtime date/horizon for the part. If you enter N, the RP firm horizon days is not updated. It may be appropriate for you to enter N if you define this date manually, or if you want the RP firm horizon days date to be different from the cumulative leadtime date.
