The Credit Release Authorization category contains all the authorization records for users. This category defines which release codes the user has authorization to change.
If this category does not exist, all users are authorized to update any hold codes. If the category does exist, but no records are found for a user, that user is not authorized to update any hold codes. If at least one record is found for the category, the user must be specifically authorized to a hold code before being able to change it.
USER IDENTIFICATION
Required. Used to define the identification of the user being given authorization.
HOLD CODE
Required. Used to define the hold code to which the user is being given authorization. The code must be one of the system defined hold codes on the Reference File (category 402).
