Consumption codes are used on the Planning screen of the Part Master Maintenance conversation. The value of the consumption code determines how consumable demand will be netted against demand that has been forecasted.
CONSUMPTION CODES
The valid consumption codes are 0, 1, 2, and 3.
CONSUMPTION CODES DECODES
The decodes for the consumption codes are as follows:
0 - Do not consume forecast.
1 - Consume sales orders, transfer orders, and transfer requisitions, offset releases.
2 - Consume component requirements and flow requirements.
3 - Consume sales orders, transfer orders, transfer requisitions, component requirements, and flow requirements.
