The Commodity Code Print Parameters Category defines what information will appear on the Planning Action Report (RP520B) for a particular commodity code.

COMMODITY CODE

Required. Enter a valid commodity code from Reference File category 434.

PLANT

Required. Enter the plant with which the Commodity Code Print Options should be associated for the given commodity code.

PLANNING FACTOR

Required. Used to determine a planning horizon for a commodity code. The value entered is multiplied by the cumulative lead time for each part processed, resulting in the number of days across which requirements will be analyzed.

JIT PLANNING DAYS

Required. The days defining the planning horizon for JIT parts with this commodity code.

PRINT EXCEPTIONS ONLY FILTER

Required. Valid values are:

Y- Print only those items with this commodity code that have order action messages.

N- Print all items processed that have this commodity code.

PRINT BEYOND HORIZON FILTER

Required. Valid values are:

Y- Allow exceptions beyond the planning horizon to force printing of the planning action report. Exceptions are displayed.

N- Ignore exceptions beyond the planning horizon.

PLANNED ORDER EXCEPTION FILTER

Required. Valid values are:

Y- Treat planned orders as exceptions.

N- Ignore planned orders.

RE-SCHEDULE EARLY FILTER

Required. Used to suppress action messages for minor changes in schedule. Expedite messages will be printed only if the order should be brought forward by a number of days that is greater than the filter.

RE-SCHEDULE LATE FILTER

Required. Used to suppress action messages for minor changes in schedule. Defer messages will be printed only if the order should be delayed by a number of days that is greater than the filter.
