This category contains the company, location, and an assigned, bracket number sequence to that location. For a company/location that requires stamp duty processing, a user can enter brackets with different stamp duty amounts.
COMPANY/LOCATION/BRACKET NUMBER
Required. The company and location must exist on Reference File category 002. The bracket number is a user-assigned, two digit number. None of the brackets for a company and location can overlap and the brackets must be in ascending order by limit bracket amount. Two brackets can have the exact same minimum and maximum amounts, however, the number of bracket days in the higher numbered bracket must be greater than the number of bracket days in the lower numbered bracket.

The Bracket Stamp Duty detail screen allows you to specify special parameters for the company, location, and bracket sequence selected.
STAMP DUTY AMOUNT
Optional. The stamp duty amount of the bracket. This defaults to zeroes.
BRACKET DAYS
Optional. The number of days assigned to a bracket. This number cannot be zero. If the payment amount falls between the minimum and maximum limits set by the bracket, the Bank Remittance Creation Program checks to see if the difference in days between the payment date and the due date is less than or equal to the number of bracket days. If all of the criteria is met, then the stamp duty in this bracket is applied to the payment. For a payment amount of 400.00:
Limit Minimum/Maximum Bracket 01 is 0 to 10,000
Bracket Days for 01 are 30
Stamp Duty Amount is 5.00
Limit Minimum/Maximum Bracket 02 is 0 to 10,000
Bracket Days for 02 are 999
Stamp Duty Amount is 10.00
If the difference in days between the payment date and the due date is 60, you will be charged the duty assigned to Bracket 02.
LIMIT MINIMUM PAYMENT BRACKET
Optional. The minimum amount for which the stamp duty amount in this bracket can be assigned. This field defaults to zeroes.
LIMIT MAXIMUM PAYMENT BRACKET
Optional. The maximum amount for which the stamp duty amount in this bracket can be assigned. The maximum amount must be greater than the minimum amount. This field
