The Accounting Cost Effectivity Date category defines the last date which the accounting costs are to be valid. Each time the Accounting Cost Generation program is run, the accounting cost effectivity date should be assigned. The Inventory Accounting period end processing will check this date each time it is run to ensure that the accounting costs are valid.
