User ID

The user ID identifies the user when signing on to the system.  This is the user ID assigned to the user for whom you wish to view user authority and initial menu assignment.  If the menu name is blank, all options and menus authorized to this user ID are displayed on the detail screen.  If the menu name is not blank, all options and sub-menus defined for the menu and authorized to the user are displayed on the detail screen.  The following validation is performed on this screen:

• The user ID must be defined either on Reference File category E16 (system security officer) or on the Security Detail File.
• This field cannot be all nines.
