Unplanned Demand

The total of all unplanned customer orders with a promised date that falls within the period.  Unplanned customer orders are unexpected orders that were not taken into account when the demand projection was developed.  They are entered with a Plan/Unpl Code of 'U' through Customer or Sales Order Maintenance.  Transfer orders and transfer requisitions are also included in this total.
