Transaction Reference Number

A transaction reference number is assigned to each batch transaction as it is entered into the system.  This reference number defaults to the sign-on ID of the user who entered the transaction.

After a batch transaction is entered, but before it is submitted for execution, you may review the transaction through the Transaction Review option.  Transaction Review can be accessed from any menu or via command key from any batch entry screen.

The first screen in each Transaction Review program prompts you to enter a reference number.  Only transactions with this reference number will be displayed.  The field defaults to your user ID.
