TARGET INVENTORY DAYS/WEEKS

The Master Scheduling module plans production such that on-hand inventory will satisfy demand for the specified number of weeks into the future for standard master scheduled parts or days into the future for daily master scheduled parts, requirements planning parts, or service parts.  The system will propose a schedule that will build up inventory during each planning period such that the target inventory, including any safety stock, will be available at the end of the last day/week in the planning period.
