Status

Status can indicate any one of the following:

• The status of an item.  Valid status codes and decodes are defined on Reference File category 205.
• The status of a company/location.
• Displays the status of an endorsement.
• The status of a journal.  It can be closed, new or open.  Closed means that the journal has been closed in error and is available for maintenance.  New means the journal is currently being entered for the first time, and is unavailable for update or inquiry.  Open means that another conversation is accessing a closed journal, so it is also
