Statement Code

A three-position alphanumeric code used to identify and sequence all headings, line description, and accounts within an entity for which financial statements are prepared.

Line descriptions are printed on each financial statement.  Statement codes are also assigned to the Account/Center Master File accounts that will be included in each financial statement line.
