Standard Burden Rate

The standard burden (or overhead) cost associated with direct labor or machine hours.  The standard burden rate is used in the Product Costing module to calculate a burden cost for each operation required in the production of a part, and in the Inventory Accounting module to value labor and machine input and variances.
