Sourcing Company, Warehouse, and Plant

For each sales order or transfer order, you must specify the warehouse from which the order will be filled.  This warehouse is the sourcing warehouse.  Warehouse numbers are unique within a company.  Therefore, whenever you specify a warehouse, you must also specify the company to which it belongs.  This company is the sourcing company.  Each warehouse is associated with a plant on the Warehouse Description File.  The plant associated with the sourcing warehouse is the sourcing plant.
