Sequence Number

This field is used to:

• Sequence the order of the detailed installment lines defined for a credit term.  If left blank, this field will be numbered based on the value in the Renumber By field.
• Assign the part to the bill of material.  If this is a reference structure, REF is displayed in this field.  The sequence number is reverse-imaged if the part number/description is anything other than Active or Marked for Deletion.
• Sort the template detail records.  It does not determine the position of the field on the template.  Enter a unique, valid number.
• Indicate the order in which operations are displayed on the screen and printed on shop paperwork.  The sequence numbers are maintained by the system.  You delete or change one of the displayed lines by entering its sequence number on the workline at the bottom of the screen.
