Salesperson

The Salesperson fields are used to associated sales personnel with a customer or order.  Four salespersons can be associated with a customer on the Customer Master Maintenance File (Sales Information screen).  The first two (Salesperson 1 and Salesperson 2) are defaulted to the header for each quote or sales order created for the customer.  The salespersons from the header are then defaulted to each line for the item.  Within Sales Analysis, you can analyze orders by salesperson.  The Sales Analysis module uses Salesperson 1 from each sales order line.

Salesperson codes are defined on Reference File category 315.  For each code, you specify the name of the salesperson.
