Required Ship Date

Indicates the date that you must ship an order's goods so that they arrive at the customer's dock by the requested dock date.  If a requested dock date is entered, the required ship date is calculated by subtracting the external lead time from the requested dock date.  If the requested dock date is blank, the required ship date is calculated by adding the internal lead time to the current date.  You decide which internal and external lead time to use on Reference File category 412.
