Program/Menu Name

If the option type is option (1), this field identifies the program called when the option being maintained is selected from a menu.  The following validation is performed for a program name: 

• The program name cannot be changed if the option number exists on the Security Detail File.
• The program name must be left-justified, no leading blanks are allowed.
• The first character of the program name must not be a numeric character.
• Embedded blanks are not allowed in the program name.  

If the option type is menu (2), this field identifies the next menu to be displayed when the option being maintained is selected from a menu.  The menu name entered must exist on the Menu Master File.  If the option description is left blank, the description defined for the menu on the Menu Master File is copied into this field.
