Production Center

A production center is a manufacturing cell where just-in-time (JIT) parts are produced.  Production center records are used in establishing production schedules and in generating CONBON cards for JIT parts.

Manufacturing routings are optional for JIT parts.  However, the production center normally represents the series of workcenters that would be defined in the routing of the JIT part or family.

Parts are assigned to a primary production center in Part Master Maintenance.
