Price List

A price list refers to a group of items with their associated base prices.  Price lists are defined using currency codes and effectivity dates.  They can be used to establish different base prices for different selling regions, customers, etc.

Once defined, price lists may be used to price sales and/or quote orders in the Order Processing module if the price code for the order is specified as 'A.' You can assign a default price list to customer records.  You can also create price list templates so that specific order criteria triggers the application of a specific price.  A default price list can be assigned to customer records; if a default exists, it will be used for all orders entered for a customer.  If a valid price list is used, the associated base prices will be retrieved.  Discounts, if applicable, are applied to these base prices.
