Machine Number

A machine number is used to uniquely identify a machine for reporting purposes.  For each machine, machine hours as well as completed and scrapped material may be reported in the Shop Floor Control module.  The use of machine numbers provides the basis for performance reporting by machine.  Machine numbers must be predefined using the Machine/Tool Maintenance conversation.
