Job Number

Job Number is only applicable if the Job Control module is installed.  The job number allows a job and its associated transactions to be tracked through order entry and shipping, planning, purchasing, manufacturing, and inventory.  

In order for this tracking to occur, a part must be defined as job-controlled on the Part Master File.
