Indirect Hours Code

Production time that is unrelated to manufacturing orders may be reported as indirect hours for both employees and machines.  This may be used to record time for supervision, cleaning, maintenance, holiday etc.  Indirect hours must be recorded with an indirect hours code, which is used to explain the purpose of the time spent.  The codes must be predefined on the Reference File (category 458).  Reporting of indirect hours incurred is available by code, employee and machine.
