From Position

This field specifies the beginning position for the template field being defined.  Enter a valid number greater than 0 and less than or equal to 1049.  It cannot be greater than the To Position field and cannot overlap any other detail line definitions. 

NOTE: If you wish to define an Expanded Configuration Code Template, you must specify a range between 51 and 1049, in addition to the normal range from 1 to 50.  A detail line cannot span position 50 to allow for the creation of the 50-character configuration code and the expanded configuration code.  Therefore, a detail line cannot be entered with a To Position greater than 50 if From Position is less than 50.
