Demand Code

Defines the planning method to be used for a part.  Valid values are:

D - Daily master scheduled part.  The part is planned by the Requirements Planning module, but may be included in the Key Facility Load and Available to Promise calculations in the Master Scheduling module. 

M - Standard master scheduled part.  The part is planned by the Master Scheduling module. 

R - Requirements planning part.  The part is planned by the Requirements Planning module. 

S - Service part.  The part is planned by the Requirements Planning module, but service demand for the part may be included in Key Facility Load reporting in the Master Scheduling module.
