Decimal Precision

The number of positions to the right of the decimal point in the option's value field. 

The following rules apply for both the Lg (Length) and D (Decimal Precision) fields:

1.  If an option variable, the length must be equal to the length of the option as it is defined in the screen generation rule. 

2.  If a secondary variable rule, the length must be no longer than 15 for alphanumeric variables, and 14.6 for numeric variables. 

3.  If an internal variable, the length must match the length of the variable as it is define on the Sales Order Header Line or the Part Master File
