Day Option

Valid values are Y (yes) or N (no).  The field defaults to N.  This field appears only if you entered D (Daily Master Scheduling) in the Planning Method field on the Function Select screen.  If you enter a Y in the Day Option field, the number that you entered in the Number of Weeks field will be converted into working days.  For example, if you enter 2 in the Number of Weeks field and Y in the Day Option field for a particular period, two weeks of daily periods will be created via the Planning Period Update conversation.  If you enter 2 in the Number of Weeks field and N in the Day Option field for a particular period, then a period containing two weeks will be created via the Planning Period Update conversation.
