Valid values depend on values from Reference File category D26, EDI Defaults:

If the Summary Flag is set to Yes and an EDI demand type is used, then this field must be blank.
-
If the Summary Flag is set to No and an EDI demand type is used, then this field must NOT be blanks. It cannot be all nines.
