Crew Operation

A routing step may be defined as a crew operation to indicate that the elapsed time required is independent of the number of persons that work on the step. 

In Shop Floor Control, a crew reporter will report the quantity completed by the entire crew.  The crew is considered to work as a team.  Labor efficiencies will be produced by crew rates rather than individual operator.
