BOL Number

Indicates the bill of lading number.  The BOL number, assigned by the shipping company, is used as a reference for them to identify the delivery.  This field is for memo purposes only; no validation is performed.  BOL numbers are system generated based on Reference File category D91.  If the BOL Consolidation flag on the Sales Order Shipping/Billing Header screen is 'Y' but the order has not been consolidated, this field will display blanks.
