AVIEXP Number

The AVIEXP number identifies the shipping messages teletransmitted to the customer.  The AVIEXP numbers are automatically generated by the system according to the shipping list numbers.  An AVIEXP message is teletransmitted for each processed Synchro shipment. 

The AVIEXP numbers are mainly used for the customer synchronization data: the customer specifies the numbers of the received AVIEXP messages which correspond to the last delivered shipments. It then allows the shipper to control the sequence of deliveries and verify the consistency between the cumulative quantities expected, received, and the advance deliveries/backorders claimed by the customer.
