Multi-Plant Requisition Transfer
Multi-Plant Requisition Transfer
If you are planning inventory movements among a number of plants within a just-in-time environment, you can immediately relieve transfer requisition quantities and cause direct transfers between plants using the Multi-plant Requisition Transfer conversation.
This conversation displays planned requisition lines for transfers between a supplying company/warehouse and receiving company/warehouse. (Only planned requisitions can be processed using this conversation.) You can limit the requisition lines displayed by entering selection criteria that includes part number, requisition number, planner identification, and horizon date. Information such as the supplying company/warehouse and the horizon date default from Reference File category I64.
For each transfer requisition line, the requisition number, line number, promised ship date, due date, stockkeeping unit, and covered quantity are displayed. You reduce the transfer requisition line quantity and create a stock transfer by selecting a line and entering:
· Uncovered quantity
· Supplying location
· Supplying balance type
· Receiving location
· Receiving balance type
· Lot number (if the part is lot-controlled)
Upon ending the conversation, the transaction is processed by the asynchronous MAC-PAC monitor.
