This screen is used to display the efficiency details for the operations within the requested open manufacturing order. If a master operation has been defined for the order, details are displayed only for the master (associated operations are not displayed).
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID.
ORDER NUMBER
Display only. The manufacturing order entered on the Function Select screen. Can be a manufacturing order for a manufactured, build-thru, or transfer part type.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The part number associated with the manufacturing order currently being displayed.
JOB NUMBER
Display only. (Displayed only if the Job Control module is installed and if the manufacturing order has been assigned to a job) The job number to which this manufacturing order is assigned.
OPERATION NUMBER
Display only. The operation step of the labor requirement, generated from the standard routing of the part or manually entered through Labor Requirements Maintenance.
OPERATION LINE
Display only. Indicates whether this labor requirement step is a primary operation (00) or an activated secondary operation (01 and up). Alternate labor requirement operations are activated only through Labor Requirements Maintenance.
OPERATION DESCRIPTION
Display only. The user defined description of the operation number/line number.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The workcenter through which the operation step is routed.
OPERATION TYPE
Display only. The valid operation types are:
1 - Standard
2 - Master
3 - Setup only overlap
4 - Run time overlap
5 - Setup and run time overlap
6 - Fixed time setup overlap
7 - Fixed time setup only overlap
To see more detailed explanations of each operation type, type an 'X' and press F11.
LABOR HOURS EARNED
Display only. The labor hours earned at standard. This is calculated as follows:
TOTAL QUANTITY COMPLETE/(labor paced operation) X PIECE RATE/(hours per piece)
This is intended as an indicator of employee productivity.
LABOR HOURS REPORTED
Display only. The actual hours reported by an employee at a labor paced operation.
LABOR EFFICIENCY
Display only. This efficiency indicator is calculated as follows:
LABOR EFFICIENCY %= (Labor Hrs. Earned/Direct Reported Labor Hours) X 100.
MACHINE HOURS EARNED
Display only. The machine hours earned at standard. This is calculated as follows:
TOTAL QUANTITY COMPLETE (machine paced operation) X PIECE RATE (hours per piece)
This is intended as an indicator of machine productivity.
MACHINE HOURS REPORTED
Display only. The actual machine run hours reported by an operator at a machine paced operation.
MACHINE EFFICIENCY
Display only. This efficiency indicator is calculated as follows:
MACHINE EFFICIENCY % =(Machine Hrs. Earned/ Direct Reported Machine Hours) X 100.
MANNING VARIANCE
Display only. In a machine-paced workcenter, labor hours reported against an operation are expressed in terms of a manning variance, which indicates how well manned a machine was. The variance is calculated as follows:
MANNING VARIANCE = Labor Hrs. Reported - {Machine Hrs. Reported X Number of Persons/ Number of Machines}
SELECT FIELD
Display only. Enter an X in this field and Press Enter to see detailed information about the operation.
