This screen is used to record the movement of material from one operation to another, the receipt of material from another operation, or the shipment of material to an outside processor. The Move/Receive transactions need not be entered if you have selected the automatic Move/Receive option, where material movement is updated automatically when a Quantity Complete transaction is reported.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which the material was received, moved, or shipped. The plant must be defined on the Warehouse Description File. You must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned on the Select screen.
ORDER NUMBER
Required. Must be a valid manufacturing order with a status of Open or Closed.
OPERATION NUMBER AND OPERATION LINE NUMBER
Required. Enter the number of the operation to which material is being received or from which material is being moved or shipped.
EMPLOYEE
Required. Enter the employee number of the employee performing the material movement.
SHIFT NUMBER
Required. Enter the number of the shift during which the transaction occurred.
QUANTITY
Required. Enter the quantity to be received, moved or shipped to an outside processor.
REVERSAL CODE
Optional. Enter an R to back out a transaction previously recorded.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Update changes.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without update.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Labor Requirements Inquiry program.
F10 - Select a Material Recording function.
F12 - Calls the standard Comments Master Maintenance Program (CF190E) to add comments to the manufacturing order.
F15 - Clear input fields.
F17 - Used to change the plant in which the user is currently working.
F19 - Select a Time Recording function.
F24 - Display additional command keys that are valid for the current screen.
