This screen is used to enter and maintain the selective requests for a particular plant.  For a selective planning mode, at least one request must be entered for RP to be submitted.  For a net or full planning mode, you may delete existing selective requests.  All selective requests existing for a full or net generation will be ignored.

PLANNER CODE

Optional.  Allows the Requirements Planning Generation to be run for all parts associated with the entered Planner Code within the given plant.  Must be a valid Planner Code defined on Reference File category 235.  This field can be changed on part-by-part basis on the Change Planning parameters screen found in Part Master Maintenance.

FAMILY ID

Optional.  Allows the Requirements Planning Generation to be run for all parts associated with the entered Family ID within the given plant.  Must be a valid Family ID defined on Reference File category 423.  This field can be changed on a part-by-part basis on the Change Productivity parameters screen found within Part Master Maintenance.  Note that the family must be different than the family to be excluded, which is specified on Reference File category D85.

PART NUMBER

Optional.  Allows the Requirements Planning Generation to be run for a specific part number within the given plant.  Must be a valid part defined in the given plant on the Part Master File.  Cannot be a planning, reference, non-standard, or non-stock part type.  Furthermore, the part cannot belong to the family to be excluded, which is specified on Reference File category D85.

FORECAST CONSUMPTION CODE

Required.  Valid values are:

1 - Weeks

2 - Months

3 - User-Defined periods

4 - Days

N - No Forecast Consumption

This field allows you to select the period over which consumption will occur for a specific part, planner, or family ID.  The value that you enter in this field can be different from the value that was entered in the Forecast Consumption Period field on the Requirements Planning Generation Request Function Select screen.  Note that if the Multi-Level Selective flag is Y (yes) on the RP Generation Request file, the lower level items in the bill of material will also be replanned, even though they may not have had specific selective requests entered on the RP Selective Request file by part, family ID, and/or planner.  In this case, these lower level items will use the default forecast consumption period value from the RP Generation Request file for the given plant.

DELETE

Optional.  Place an 'X' in this field to delete a particular request.

COMMAND KEYS

Enter - Process the selective request.

F3    - Exit without updating the request.

F4    - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned.  If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.

F6    - Delete all requests for a particular plant.

F15   - Reset the data on the screen to display the current requests.
