This screen allows you to modify commodity codes on Reference File category D03 directly, without entering Reference File Maintenance. This screen can be accessed by pressing the F9 Comm Cod Prt Key in the Requirements Planning Generation Request screen.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which maintenance/inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID, but may be changed by pressing F17.
COMMODITY CODE
Required (add). Optional (change). This code must exist on the Reference File category 434.
PLAN FACT
Required (add). Optional (change). Must be numeric and right-justified with one decimal place. This figure will be multiplied by the parts horizon date, which limits the amount of detail to be printed on the Planning Action Report (RP520B). If zero is entered, all requirements will be printed.
JUST-IN-TIME PLAN DAYS
Required (add). Optional (change) Must be numeric and right-justified. This figure is added to the RP Run Date to determine the JIT parts' running horizon for parts without a commodity code.
PRINT EXCEPTIONS ONLY
Required (add). Optional (change). Valid values are:
Y - Print only those items which have order action messages on the Planning Action Report. Display only those items that have order action messages in the Planning Action Review Inquiry.
N - Print all items processed on the Planning Action Report.
This figure is used only for parts without an associated commodity code.
PRINT BEYOND HORIZON
Required (add). Optional (change). The Print Beyond Horizon Default must be:
Y - Print beyond horizon
N - Do not print beyond horizon
PLANNED ORDER EXCEPTION
Required (add). Optional (change). Must be either:
Y - Planned orders are treated as exceptions
N - Planned orders are not treated as exceptions
RE-SCHEDULE EARLY FILTER
Required (add). Optional (change). Must be numeric and right-justified. It is used by the Requirements Planning Generation Program to limit the printing of an expedite order action message. The expedite message is printed only if the order must be expedited a number of days earlier than the specified filter. If zero is entered, all expedite messages will be printed.
RE-SCHEDULE LATE FILTER
Required (add). Optional (change). Must be numeric and right-justified. It is used by the Requirements Planning Generation Program to limit the printing of a defer order action message. The defer message is printed only if the order must be deferred a number of days greater than the specified filter. If zero is entered, all expedite messages will be printed.
SELECT DELETE
Optional. Place an X in this field and press Enter to delete the record from Reference File category D03.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process the generation request.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit without updating the request.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F5 - Return to the original RP Generation Request screen.
F15 - Reset the data on the screen to the original data which appeared on the screen when it was entered.
