This screen displays all parts meeting the selection criteria you entered on the function select screen. The parts are sorted according to the List Sequence you chose. Enter is not a valid key on this screen. Use the function keys to return to the Function Select screen, to advance to the Requirement/Order or detail screens, or to access the Simulation Schedule Maintenance conversation.
Note: If you entered 'S' in the Requirements Planning Run Mode field on the function select screen, the list screen will be displayed in simulated mode.
HORIZON DATE
Display only. The cutoff date that you entered on the function select screen. If you proceed to the Requirement/Order screen or the detail screen, you will only be able to view requirements and orders that are due prior to or on the horizon date.
VENDOR NUMBER
Display only. The item's preferred vendor that you entered on the function select screen.
LOW LEVEL CODE
Display only. The low level code that you entered on the function select screen.
PART TYPE
Display only. The part type that you entered on the function select screen. It was defaulted to all valid part types (1, 2, 3, 6, and 8) if you left it blank.
FAMILY ID
Display only. The family ID that you entered on the function select screen.
ACTION STATUS CODE
Display only. The action status code that you entered on the function select screen.
ABC CLASS
Display only. The ABC class that you entered on the function select screen.
COMMODITY CODE
Display only. The commodity code that you entered on the function select screen.
EXCEPTION ONLY
Display only. The exception option that you entered on the function select screen.
PLANNING POLICY CODE
Display only. The planning policy code that you entered on the function select screen.
JOB NUMBER
Display only. The job that you entered on the function select screen. It will only appear if the Job Control Module is installed.
BUYER
Display only. The buyer that you entered on the function select screen. This code is held on Reference File category 238.
PLANT
Display only. The plant that contains the part. This field will not appear if you entered a plant on the function select screen.
PLANNER CODE
Display only. The planner that was assigned to the part in the Part Master Maintenance program. This field will not appear if you entered a planner code on the function select screen.
PART NUMBER
Display only. The part whose information you are viewing. Type an 'X' in the Select field and press F8-Requirmnt/Order to see the parts requirements and orders or F14-Detail to see details on the part's orders.
PART DESCRIPTION
Display only. The part's description that is held on the Part Master file.
VENDOR
Display only. The part's preferred vendor. This information is retrieved from the Part Master file. There may be multiple item/vendor relationships defined for this part, but if this field is blank there is no preferred vendor. To display this field, press F20-Fold/Truncate.
FAMILY ID
Display only. The family associated with the item. It is maintained on the Part Master file. To display this field press F20-Fold/Truncate.
ABC CLASS
Display only. ABC class is used to define an item's relative value. The ABC class for an item is maintained on the Warehouse Balance file.
PART TYPE
Display only. The type of part displayed. Only five of the system's part types are valid for Requirements Planning Generation. They are the only types valid in this inquiry. They are:
1 - Purchased
2 - Manufactured
3 - Raw Material
6 - Build/Through
8 - Transfer
PRODUCTION TYPE
Display only. The production type of the item as defined on the Part Master file. The production type shows how the part is manufactured. The two valid production types are MRP and JIT.
UNIT OF MEASURE
Display only. The unit of measure in which the quantities on the Requirement/Order and detail screens will be expressed.
LOW LEVEL CODE
Display only. The low level code associated with the item. It refers to the lowest bill of material level at which this part exists in any product structure in the system. In a multi-plant environment it refers to the lowest bill of material level at which this part exists in any product structure in the specified plant. The low level code is held on the Part Master file and is updated in the Product Structure Maintenance conversation.
COMMODITY CODE
Display only. Represents the group of inventory in which this item exists. The commodity code is maintained on the Part Master file.
PLANNING POLICY CODE
Display only. This code, along with the planning policy quantity, is used by the system to determine a production quantity for orders, flows, and requisitions. The planning policy code for an item is maintained on the Part Master file.
ACTION STATUS
Display only. Updated by the Requirements Planning Generation Programs. If a part has its own requirements or orders generated, the action status code is set to 'R' for review. If the part has no newly generated requirements or orders, the code is set to 'C' for complete.
SELECT
Optional. Enter an 'X' in this field to display that part's requirement/order information (using F8-Requirmnt/Order) or its detailed information (using F14-Detail).
COMMAND KEYS
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program without processing the entered data.
F8 - Display the Requirement/Order screen if a valid part number has been entered.
F6 - Display the next part that has action messages from the List screen.
F10 - Return to the Function Select screen without processing the entered data.
F11 - Display the Simulation Schedule Maintenance Function Select screen.
F14 - Display the detail screen if a valid part number that has action messages has been entered.
F20 - Display a second line of information for each record. If the second line is displayed, F20 removes it.
