This screen displays the total cost incurred by each part that uses a particular miscellaneous cost workcenter. It is displayed when a miscellaneous cost workcenter is selected on the Workcenter Rate Table Inquiry screen (PC800S01) and the F5 = Detail key is pressed.
The cost information on the screen is retrieved from the Miscellaneous Cost Header File (ME160M1).
PLANT
Display only. The plant where the workcenter is located. It was entered on the first screen.
CURRENCY CODE
Display only. Displayed only in a multi-currency environment. The base currency for the company/location that is associated with the plant's manufacturing company/warehouse.
WORKCENTER NUMBER
Display only. The workcenter for which costs are displayed. It was selected on the previous screen.
WORKCENTER DESCRIPTION
Display only. Text associated with the workcenter number that helps identify the workcenter. The workcenter was selected on the previous screen. The description for the workcenter is maintained on the Workcenter File (ME100M).
SELECT
Optional. To see the detailed cost elements for a part, type an X in this field and press F5.
PART NUMBER
Display only. This screen lists all parts that have costs defined at the workcenter.
RATE CODE
Display only. Indicates how the total miscellaneous cost is interpreted for the part/workcenter. Possible values are:
X - Fixed material M - Variable material
Y - Fixed labor L - Variable labor
Z - Fixed overhead O - Variable overhead
C - Memo charge
TOTAL MISCELLANEOUS COST
Display only. The total cost incurred for this item at this workcenter. It represents the total of all detailed cost elements maintained for the part/workcenter combination. To view these elements, type an X in the Select field and press F5.
Note that the total cost will be interpreted differently during the cost rollup, depending on the rate code. If the rate code is "memo charge," the cost will not be included in the item's total cost. Otherwise, the cost will roll up into the labor, material, or overhead bucket for the part, depending on the rate code. If the cost is fixed, the total miscellaneous cost will be divided by the average order quantity to give the cost per piece. For variable costs, the total cost is the cost per piece.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to the previous screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F5 - Enter the Miscellaneous Cost Inquiry (ME840E).
