All costs fields associated with the specified part are displayed on this screen. Total cost fields and this-level cost fields are displayed for current, standard, and simulated costs.
For manufactured parts, 'Total Costs' are all costs incurred in producing the part through all levels of its bill of material, and 'This Level Costs' are costs incurred to produce this part from its immediate components. For purchased or raw material parts, total and this level costs are the purchase cost of the item.
PLANT
Display only. The plant for which information is displayed.
BASE CURRENCY
Display only. Base currency associated with company/location that is assigned to the manufacturing company/ warehouse in this plant.
SIMULATION TRIAL ID
Display only. The name or identification number of the simulation whose cost information is displayed on the screen.
PART NUMBER/DESCRIPTION
Display only. The part whose costs are displayed together with its description.
CUR COST ROLLOVER CODE
Display only. Indicates whether current costs are rolled over into the standard costs for this part when a selective rollover is performed. The flag is maintained in the Part Costs Maintenance conversation. You initiate a selective cost rollover with the Cost Rollover conversation. Values for this field are:
Y - The standard costs for the part will be updated with current costs if a selective standard cost rollover is performed.
N - Standard costs for the part will not be affected by a selective standard cost rollover.
REVISION LEVEL
Display only. The version of the bill of material that was used to calculate the displayed costs.
DRAWING NUMBER
Display only. A cross-reference to the engineering document that details the design for this item. The engineering drawing associated with an item is specified on the Part Master File.
SIM COST ROLLOVER CODE
Display only. Indicates whether current costs are rolled over into the current or standard cost for this part when a selective rollover is performed. The flag is maintained in the Part Costs Maintenance conversation. You initiate a selective cost rollover with the Cost Rollover conversation. Values for this field are:
Y - The current or standard costs for the part will be updated with the simulated cost values when a selective simulated cost rollover is performed.
N - Costs for the part will not be affected by a selective simulated cost rollover.
CURRENT COSTS - TOTAL/THIS LEVEL
Display only. The current material, labor, and overhead costs for this item. The total costs represent the sum of all costs rolled up from all levels of the part's bill of material. The this-level material cost for a manufactured part will always be zero, unless a miscellaneous material charge is defined on the part's routing. The this-level material cost for a purchased part will be the total purchased material cost of the item. Total cost fields for a part equal the this-level costs plus the costs required to purchase or make all components. Material costs incurred at lower levels of the bill of material will be reflected in the total material field. This-level costs are calculated from the operations defined for the part on its routing. Current costs are based on the current bill of material, current routing, and current costs for any purchased items, raw materials, transfer items, and non-stocked parts.
STANDARD COSTS - TOTAL/THIS LEVEL
Display only. The standard material, labor, and overhead costs for this item typically set at the beginning of a fiscal year.. The total costs represent the sum of all costs rolled up through all levels of the part's bill of material. The this-level costs represent costs only for immediate components. This-level costs are calculated from the operations specified for the part on its routing.
SIMULATED COSTS - TOTAL/THIS LEVEL
Display only. The material, labor, and overhead costs generated for parameters entered using the indicated simulation ID. Total costs represent the sum of all costs rolled up through all levels of the part's bill of materials. The this-level costs represent costs for the immediate components. This-level costs are calculated from the operations specified for the part on its routing.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Return to the select screen.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu. Fast path allows the next menu
F7 - Display the material detail for the part.
F8 - Display the labor detail for the part.
F12 - Display the cost elements for the part.
