This screen is used to request a display of summary cost, material cost, labor cost, or cost element information for a selected part. You must also select the type of cost information to be displayed - current, standard or simulated.
PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant in which inquiry will be done. The plant must be valid, and the user must be authorized to the manufacturing company/ warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). Defaults to the plant assigned to your user ID, but may be changed using command key 17.
PART NUMBER
Required. To display material costs, must be a part with components(a manufactured, build-thru, or transfer part). To display labor costs, must be a part with routing steps (a manufactured or transfer part). Cost elements and summary costs may be displayed for any part.
DISPLAY FORMAT
Required. Select one of the display options with an 'X':
Summary - Total current, standard and simulated costs will be displayed for the material, labor and overhead cost elements.
Material - All standard component parts and the cost contribution of each will be displayed.
Labor - All standard routing steps and the cost contribution of each will be displayed.
Cost Elements - All cost elements and associated costs for the part will be displayed.
COST TYPE
Required. Select one of the three cost types with an 'X'.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Display detail screens.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - The Cost Simulation Material Change Screen is displayed. This command key is displayed only if the program was entered from the Cost Simulation Material Change Screen.
F17 - Change the plant in which the user is currently working.
