This screen displays all routing steps performed in the specified workcenter.

PLANT

Display only.  The plant where the workcenter is located.  It was entered on the Function Select screen.

WORKCENTER NUMBER

Display only.  The workcenter for which information is being updated.  It was entered on the Function Select screen.

WORKCENTER DESCRIPTION

Display only.  The workcenter description appears on various reports and inquiries and is used to describe the workcenter.

PART NUMBER

Display only.  The part that is produced in the workcenter.

OPERATION/LINE NUMBER

Display only.  The operation number serves as a unique identification of the step and defines the sequence in which the steps are performed within the routing.  A Line Number of '00' indicates a primary operation; a non-zero Line Number indicates an alternate operation.  The Line Number is blank for JIT operation steps.

OPERATION DESCRIPTION

Display only.  A short description of the operation.

OPERATION SCHEDULING LOGIC

For information about how the routing is used to schedule the operation, type an X in the space to the left of this paragraph and press F11.

OPERATION TYPE

Display only.  The standard operation types are:

1 - Standard

2 - Master

3 - Setup only overlap

4 - Run time overlap

5 - Setup and run time overlap

6 - Fixed time no overlap

7 - Fixed time setup only overlap.

8 - JIT

CREW OPERATION FLAG

Display only.  Indicates whether or not the operation is performed by a crew.

SETUP HOURS

Display only.  The hours required to setup the operation, regardless of order quantity.

PIECE RATE

Display only.  Defines the production rate for the operation.

OVERLAP PERCENT/QUANTITY

Display only.  The number or percent of units that must be completed at the preceding operation before work on this operation can begin.

SENSITIVITY FLAG

Display only.  Only valid for operation types 6-7 and for parts made in batches.  An 'N' indicates that the fixed time load is truly fixed.  A 'Y' indicates the fixed time load is only fixed as a function of batch quantity.  The field will default to 'N' if left blank and only appears for parts that are produced in batches. To see an illustration of how the sensitivity flag works in conjunction with the sensitivity factor to determine time required for an operation, place an 'X' next to this paragraph and press F11.

SENSITIVITY FACTOR

Display only.  Only valid for operation types 6-7 for parts made in batches that are sensitive (see Sensitivity Flag). Factor is used to determine the threshold at which another batch will be needed.  This field will default to zero and only appears for parts that are produced in batches.  To see how the sensitivity factor works in conjunction with the sensitivity flag to determine time required for an operation, place an 'X' next to this paragraph and press F11.

MACHINE

Display only.  The primary machine used to complete the operation.

TOOL

Display only.  Defines any tooling required for the operation.

NUMBER OF PERSONS

Display only.  The number of persons or the crew size required to perform this operation.

NUMBER OF MACHINES

Display only.  The number of machines required to perform this operation.

OPERATION OFFSET

Display only.  The number of days the part is worked on before being received by the parent part.

LABOR HOURS

Display only.  The standard number of labor hours used on this operation.

MACHINE LOAD

Display only.  Machine load per unit incurred on the workcenter.

COMMAND KEYS

Enter - Return to the Function Select screen.

F2    - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered.  Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen.  When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.

F3    - Exit program and return to menu.

F8    - Used to enter the Function Select screen of the Load Summary Inquiry Program (available only if Capacity Planning is installed).

F11   - The Workcenter Inquiry Description screen is displayed.

F16   - Used to enter the Detail Screen of the Effective Capacity Inquiry Program (available only if Capacity Planning is installed).
