Display only.  The plant where the workcenter is located.  It was specified on the Function Select screen.

WORKCENTER NUMBER

Display only.  The workcenter for which information is being entered or changed.  It was specified on the Function Select screen.

WORKCENTER DESCRIPTION

Display only.  The workcenter description appears on various reports and inquiries and is used to describe the workcenter.

ACTIVITY CODE

Display only.  An inactive workcenter is one that has been selected for deletion and is ineligible for use.

INCLUDE SETUP IN LOAD

Display only.  This flag defines whether the load arising from setup time will be included in the workcenter load in the Capacity Planning module.

DEPARTMENT NUMBER

Display only.  Groups related workcenters into a department and is used to relate the workcenter to general ledger labor and burden accounts.

UTILIZATION PERCENT

Display only.  This figure describes the percentage of the total time spent at the workcenter which is anticipated as being direct (i.e. charged to manufacturing orders).  It can be used as a standard against which to report actual performance in the Shop Floor Control module.

MACHINE/LABOR PACED FLAG

Display only.  This flag is used to define the factor that drives the pace of an operation at the workcenter.  Standard values are:

M - Machine paced

L - Labor paced

EFFICIENCY PERCENT

Display only.  This figure describes the ratio between earned hours, based on the standard piece rates and quantities completed, and the actual hours reported.  It may be used as a standard against which to report labor and machine performance in the Shop Floor Control module.

CELL IDENTIFIER

Display only.  Documents the relationship between a workcenter and a Just-In-Time production cell/center.

MOVE HOURS

Display only.  The average number of hours spent moving materials from another workcenter during the processing of an order.

KEY FACILITY

DEFAULT SIR LOCATION

Display only.  When performing manufacturing order receipts and quantity completes in a multiple location backflushing environment, this field can be used to override the SIR location defined on the component's Part Master record.  When performing a SIR issue, the reference operation number of the component will be used to retrieve a labor requirement associated with the manufacturing order.  If the workcenter attached to the labor requirement has a non-blank default SIR location, the specified location will be used as the actual location from which inventory for the component will be deducted.  If this location is left blank, inventory will be relieved from the SIR location specified on the component's Part Master record.

HOURS PER DAY

Display only.  Defines the available working hours in a day at this workcenter.
