This screen is used to copy workcenters. You may copy a workcenter within a plant, or you may copy a workcenter, a range of workcenters, or all workcenters across plants.
FROM PLANT
Required. Used to identify the plant from which a workcenter or workcenters will be copied. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409).
TO PLANT
Optional for copy within plant. Required for copy across plants. Used to identify the plant to which a workcenter or workcenters will be copied. The plant must be valid, and you must be authorized to the manufacturing company/ warehouse associated with the plant (Reference File category 409). For copy within a plant, the TO PLANT must equal the FROM PLANT. For copy across plants, the TO PLANT must not equal the FROM PLANT.
FROM WORKCENTER NUMBER
Required. For copy within a plant, the workcenter must exist on the Workcenter File. For copy across plants, this field can have one of three values: 'ALL' for copy all workcenters, a valid workcenter for copy one workcenter, or a lower limit for copy a range of workcenters.
TO WORKCENTER NUMBER
Required for copy within a plant. Optional for copy across plants. For copy within a plant, a new workcenter number (one which does not presently exist on the Work Center File) must be entered. For copy across plants, this field must have one of three values: blank for copy all workcenters, blank for copy one workcenter, or an upper limit for copy a range of workcenters.
MAINTENANCE CODE
Required. Indicates whether the "from" and "to" workcenters exist in the same plant. Must be one of values displayed on the screen.
COMMAND KEYS
Enter - Process copy.
F2 - Display a window where a fast path option or mnemonic can be entered. Fast path allows the next menu selection to be made directly from this screen. When the window is displayed, pressing F3 will remove it.
F3 - Exit program and return to menu.
F4 - Display a list of values for the field where the cursor is positioned. If you select one of the items from the list, it will be returned to the application screen.
F9 - Enter the Workcenter Inquiry program.
F15 - Reenter field values.
